OUR NEW DOUBLE ROOMS – STYLISH AND COSY

14Aug

“Rainforest chic” is the design title that we have coined for the renovation of our four double rooms with ensuites. They are now light and airy, ergonomically designed to efficiently maximize space with a touch of luxury.

We have once again used the design talents of the ladies from PocketSpace Interiors to present high quality, elegant and functional “rainforest chic” rooms. Our builders, plumbers, electricians, concrete layers, joiner and tiler have done a great job over the last three months, turning our vision into reality!

The bathrooms, with newly installed skylights, have really been given the “wow factor”, with forest green tiles stretching up to the roof, super-sized showers and all new fittings.

The space in the bedrooms has been optimised with an inbuilt area for suitcases, a kitchen unit and table and chairs. The gruelling job of sanding down the existing ceilings was well worth it as the whitewash coating on the ceilings and new macrocarpa feature wall really lightens up the rooms. New beds and bedding were chosen to accentuate the rainforest theme. The outdoor patios have been concreted and boxed in wood with opaque glass partitions, giving plenty of privacy and once again maximising space.

The double rooms all have new heat pumps, which can be individually regulated to the desired room temperature.

We do hope that you will be able to come and enjoy the new-look Wairua, which still offers utmost tranquillity in the heart of the rainforest.
