Our plan is to renovate the Kiwi Apartment during the winter months of 2020, but as with many projects, there are some low-hanging fruit that can be harvested with little effort. Such is the case with the new patio area.
A new glass door has been installed, connecting the apartment to a once unused courtyard – bringing in more natural light to the apartment and turning an unused and unloved space into a sunny, sheltered and stylish outdoor living space with bbq. This also gave us the opportunity to tidy up the area around the workshop. Our German Wwoofers Leo and Levin got very creative and built a stunning feature wood-stack and Aschi also got inspired and created some Wairua art out of old bits of corrugated iron that we found around the property. A big thanks goes to our builders Mike an Aydham who put in alot of effort to get the renovations done in a very short time.
